A voluntary Medical Humanities module was conducted at the Manipal College of Medical Sciences, Pokhara, Nepal. Small group, activity-based learning was used. Literature and art excerpts, case scenarios, role plays and debates were used to explore issues in the humanities. The manuscript describes the author's (who was the facilitator)experiences while conducting the module.
